First open water swim of the season

Water temperature was 14°C off the coast near Cascais. Managed 45 minutes before the cold became too much. This is where the training gets real — the pool is comfortable, the ocean is honest.

Week 6 recap: shin splint prevention is working

Six weeks into the new protocol — ground contact time drills, calf raises, and gradual mileage increases. Zero shin pain so far. After surgery in 2017, I know how important this is. The biomechanics data from Apple Watch helps me stay honest.
